What the school provides

Self-paced online courses for the written side of crane operator, rigger and signal person certification, with exam-style practice questions you can work through on any device. Pages on this site also lay out how AKOSH and the federal crane rules apply here and what lifting looks like in each borough and census area.

Our enrollment advisors answer questions about which course fits your work and how candidates in your part of the state usually arrange their exams.

Where our role ends

We are not a certifying body and we do not issue cards or licenses. Certification comes from accredited organizations such as NCCCO after you pass their written exam and a hands-on practical. We do not run practical exams, operate a training yard or have a physical campus, and we cannot guarantee that you will pass or that anyone will hire you.

Getting in touch

The enrollment form is the only way to reach us. Tell us what you need and an advisor will reply.

Line up your crane certification prep from anywhere in Alaska

Let us know the card you need — operator, rigger or signal person — and the community you work out of, whether that's on the road system or off it. An enrollment advisor writes back with a matching course and a plan for getting your written and practical exams on the calendar.

  • Lessons open around the clock, on any phone, tablet or laptop
  • Practice questions shaped like the NCCCO written tests
